Armed & Dangerous

Along with jumping on the blogging bandwagon, I've also made my presence known on the TTC bandwagon. We have been going back and forth (mainly back) about TTC a 4th baby. We've been in the limbo (mainly under the stick) since about July 2006. 1 month after my youngest was born, to be exact. It was at first a "if it happens, it happens, good" thing, but as of late (almost a year now) we've been charting, cm checking, poas like crazy, bd'ing like bunnies, and all in all, being very upset with MY body. DH's tests are fine, I have yet to continue my testing because they think everything is fine, we have 3 healthy, happy kids and had them without medication or complications. My OB has already suggested Clomid, but I'm not a fan of medicine, especially when I know [I think] that it can be done without medicine, but with more patience than anything. So, here we are making it public, yet again, that we still are, in fact, on this damn bandwaggon and I'm about to jump off. :)

So, here are my weapons:

BBT thermometer: $9.99 at Walgreens

I'm such a geek, I think it's fun to watch what my temperature may do in the morning, and I think it's just so fun to see it rising after ovulation - then I get the big fat negative pregnancy test and don't think it's fun anymore.

Moving on:

Let me tell you, I'm glad there's 20 in there, because sometimes I test 3x's daily, just to make sure my peak didn't slip past me lol.

Answer pregnancy tests. Come on they're just like First Response, just CHEAPER! And who loves a bargain, I DO! They come in a bright orange box, can't miss them.

Then, the best for last, a
FertilityFriend chart, they're so addictive and fun. So here's a shameless link to My Fertility Friend Chart.

Then we have the sex, which, I can't show you. Damn.

What's that thingamajig called?

The USB (maybe that's what it is) cord that hooks your camera up to your computer to upload pictures...I lost mine. Of course. In the move.

I have a huge house that needs decorated badly. It still has the same blinds and curtains that the previous owner had.. oh boy, her taste was AWFUL.

I've been reading a lot of
The Nesting Place and getting tons of ideas on mistreatments, but do I dare trust myself in attempting even a fraction of what she pulls off? I don't know... I'm uploading pictures from my cell phone [crappy quality] of the windows, french doors and kitchen window... I need to get my butt moving and get some inspiration, hell, just some fabric would help out. The downside is, our town has no Michaels, no Hobby Lobby, no JoAnn's...NOTHING. So I'm stumped at what to do for fabric. We do have a Walmart.

Here's some pictures... Please remember, we've only been here a few weeks... It was a stresssssfulll move.

I actually don't half mind the curtains like I put them, but more color (pref. black and white) would look a lot better... I think.

Like I said, it needs lots of decorating... I really need to make a cover for the loveseat in front of the window, again, CLUELESS!

Welcome!

Welcome to my first ever blog.

A little bit about me:

I'm Megan.
I have 3 kids.
1 pesky Husband who's too anal about keeping a clean house.
I'm a wannabe crafty person, baker, journalist, successful blogger, writer, ultrasound tech, SAHM Mother. You can say I have a wide range of wannabes, and am too lazy to try to get to my act together to actually endure any of this stuff.
We live in Iowa.
We recently bought our first house - what a stressful mess that was.

Well, not much else to say about us - we're your typical American Family...

Enjoy my blogs, although, they won't be half as good as many other bloggers..
